Charles Cook (Charles McKinley Cook) was born on May 13, 1959 in Gainesville, Florida. After going to high school at Buchholz (Gainesville, FL), Cook attended the University of Miami. Cook made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
