Charlie Jones (Charles Claude Jones) was born on June 2, 1876 in Butler, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1901 for the Boston Americans. In 1905, his rookie year, he hit .208 with 2 home runs and 41 RBI. Jones played for the Boston Americans, Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Charlie Jones's best season was 1906, when he stole 34 bases.
