Changes to the Packer Secondary

For one pre-season game anyway, it appears the Green Bay Packers will have new starters in the secondary.
In camp on Tuesday, veteran safety Marquand Manuel only worked a couple of snaps with the first unit. Youngster Atari Bigby (the best name in football), received the majority of the work with the first team. Manuel spent his time working with rookie Aaron Rouse. It looks like there is a change on the wind. Manuel has been a disappointment from the first day he suited up as a Packer. They may finally have a better option.
In similar news, Jarrett Bush has surpassed Patrick Denby and looks to be the new starting nickel-back. For those that have seen some of my comments in the threads, this is something that I mentioned several weeks ago (kudos to me).
Against the Seahawks, Bigby had two sacks and a forced fumble that was returned for a TD. Jarrett Bush also had two interceptions in the game. Both players have earned this opportunity to play with the starters.
Finally, the Packers have released safety Marviel Underwood. Underwood was a 4th round draft choice in 2005 that, unfortunately, is not in their future plans. Although fully recovered from a knee injury, he did not look mentally prepared in his limited action this pre-season. Maybe he can pick up somewhere else.
