Chalmers Tschappatt (John Chalmers Tschappatt) in Bellaire, Ohio. After going to high school at Bellaire (OH), Tschappatt attended West Virginia Wesleyan College. Tschappatt made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles for his entire 1 year career.
