Born on August 17, 1978 in Lomita, California, Chad Qualls (Chad Michael Qualls) played for the Houston Astros for his entire 3 year career. Qualls broke into the bigs on July 22, 2004 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 3.28 ERA in 79.2 innings pitched in 2005, his rookie year.
