Cesar Izturis (Cesar David Izturis) was born on February 10, 1980 in Barquisimeto, Lara (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on June 23, 2001 for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .269 with 2 home runs and 9 RBI. Izturis played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Cesar Izturis's best season was 2004, when he stole 25 bases, hit for a .288 average and knocked in 62 runs.
