Cecil Souders (Cecil B. Souders) was born on January 3, 1921 in Bucyrus, Ohio. After going to high school at Bucyrus (OH), Souders attended Ohio State University. Souders made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1947 was Cecil Souders's best year.
