Shad Chad Javier Jesus Roman Chittick Gaspard[3] (born January 13, 1981) [3] is an American professional wrestler of Haitian and Curaçaon descent.[3] Born in Brooklyn, NY, He is best known for his time with World Wrestling Entertainment, where he and his partner JTG wrestled on the Raw brand as the tag team Cryme Tyme.[2]

At 5 years old Shad’s father began trained him in boxing, and at age 8 years old Shad’s parent enrolled him in a mixture of different martial arts[3]. As a student Shad loved to fight, he quickly developed in to an aggressive fighter and won many fights as an amateur[3]. He was so violent and aggressive that his mother gave him the name “Beast”. [3]
At the age of 16 Shad began prize fighting for promoter “Hardbody Harrison” [3] (Former WCW wrestler & FX Tough Man Champion) in bar fighting tournaments like Boxing, Kick Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and tough man [3]. Even thou Shad was 16 years old he fought adults who were older than him by 5-20 years[3]. Holding a record as a No Holds Barred fighter (35-7) and amateur boxer (57-26). [3]
Gaspard was extensively involved in sports in high school, specializing in wrestling, track and basketball [3]. He continued to play basketball in college at Georgia Perimeter College [3], and after leaving he became a bodyguard for several rappers and actors; including Puff Daddy, Cuba Gooding, Jr., and Mike Tyson [3].
Gaspard then decided to become a professional wrestler. He qualified for the finals of the jointly WWE/MTV produced reality program Tough Enough 2 in 2002, but was disqualified and replaced after failing a physical.
[edit] Ohio Valley Wrestling
After Tough Enough he was recruited by WWF talent scout Tom Prichard to try for a carrier as a Pro- Wrestler. He first trained with Sgt. Dwayne Bruce from WCW Power Plant for six months[4]. Afterward he attended Tom Prichard's first Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) "training camp", after which he was offered an opportunity to return to train full time.
He debuted in OVW in 2003 under the ring name Da Beast,[5] eventually joining Kenny Bolin's Bolin Services stable. Originally he acted as Bolin's personal enforcer, until in February 2004 he was placed into a tag team with Carlos Colón.
After Colón left OVW in October 2004 Gaspard left Bolin Services and formed a short lived tag team with Osama before he began wrestling under his real name as a singles wrestler.
[edit] World Wrestling Entertainment (2005-2007)
In June 2005, he was signed to a developmental contract by World Wrestling Entertainment, and in early 2006 he was joined by the Neighborhoodie in a new tag team.[6] The new team won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship once[7] before being called up to the main WWE Raw brand roster as Cryme Tyme. September 4, 2006 – RAW A series of vignettes start played hyping Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG) coming to RAW[8]. October 16, 2006 - RAW Cryme Tyme daubed in Los Angeles CA Staples Center defeated The Spirit Squad (Johnny & Mike) in a Non-title match. November 5, 2006 - Cyber Sunday Fans Chose Match Stipulations: 1) Fatal 4-WAY -- 2) Tag Team Turmoil -- or 3) Texas Tornado (50%). Cryme Tyme defeated Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch and Charlie Haas & Viscera and The Highlanders in a Texas Tornado match[8]. January 7, 2007--New Year's Revolution Cryme Tyme won a Tag Team Turmoil Match. Becoming #1 contender for the WWE Tag Title. The match included Cryme Tyme vs The Highlanders vs Benjamin & Haas vs Cade & Murdoch vs Jim Duggan & Super Crazy[8]. April 1, 2007 - WrestleMania 23 Cryme Tyme made a cameo and started a dance party with Eugene and some WWE Legends[8]. June 4, 2007 - RAW Cryme Tyme & Candice Michelle defeated Johnny Nitro & Kenny Dykstra & Melina Perez. June 29, 2007--SmackDown Deuce & Domino w/Cherry defeated Cryme Tyme in an Interpromotional match. While Deuce, Domino & Cherry celebrated, Cryme Tyme stole their car and took it to Brisco Brothers Auto Shop to sell it for parts chanting “Money, Money, Ya, Ya” [8]. July 22, 2007--Ohio Valley Wrestling The James Boys defeated Cryme Tyme to win back the OVW Southern Tag Team titles[8]. August 13, 2007—RAW in New York City, New York Madison Square Garden Cryme Tyme home town, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch beat Cryme Tyme in a Non-Title Match, Shad used a chair on Trevor. August 27, 2007--RAW Cryme Tyme stole Lance Cade's cowboy hat and gave away to a very happy fan for free. September 2, 2007: Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG) were both released from their World Wrestling Entertainment contract for reasons not connected to WWE drug police[8].

- Shad’s father Benjamin Gaspard was a former street enforcer in the early 70’s for street gangs and personal security. Currently he is owner of Mcfay Contracting Inc[3].
- Shad is one of 6 brothers and sisters.
- Shad has been arrested for assault in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio, Georgia, Illinois, and California. Looting & robbery in New York and Georgia. And drug-trafficking in Atlanta, GA[3][9].
- Shad Started bounsing in night clubs in Atlanta at the age 16 and bodyguard at the age 19[3]. befor daubing on RAW in 2005 Shad had been a Profesional bouncer for 10yrs and a professional bodyguard for 6yrs[3].
