The Circuit de Catalunya is a race track in the Catalonia region of Spain. It is sometimes called "Barcelona", in reference to the nearest major city to the track. It has been the home of the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix since 1991. Catalunya is one of the more popular testing sites for F1 teams. To some, this hurts the quality of racing here, since drivers are very familiar with it.
