Carter Campbell (Carter Bradford Campbell) was born on September 29, 1947 in Mobile, Alabama. After going to high school at Vanden (Travis, CA), Campbell attended Treasure Valley Community College and Weber State University. Campbell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the New York Giants, Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Carter Campbell's best year.
