Carnival of Soccer 5

I don't often, or at least I don't often nakedly, promote my home site, It's a Simple Game. But this week I hosted a collaborative project, known as the Carnival of Soccer, that takes place periodically between several soccer blogs.
The subject was inspired by a question posed by Alex Holowczak in this space. He once asked (or at least I thought he did) for a thumbnail description of the teams of Major League Soccer. Shortly after answering his question, I was asked to host the fifth Carnival of Soccer and took that opportunity to run a version of Alex's question past a community of soccer bloggers.
I just posted the results of that informal survey this morning, under the title: Come One, Come All: Carnival of Soccer 5. The point of the project was to explain the personality of each of Major League Soccer's teams. As such, it's a little about sharing the budding culture of the league. I can heartily recommend that body of work to anyone interested in learning more about the league, the other authors' contributions no less - if not a little more - than my own. So, if you're at all curious, head on over and check it out.
