Carmen Mauro

Carmen Mauro (Carmen Louis Mauro) was born on November 10, 1926 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He made his Major League debut on October 1, 1948 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1950, his rookie year, he hit .227 with 1 home run and 10 RBI. Mauro played for the Chicago Cubs, Washington Senators, Philadelphia Athletics and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 4 year career.
