Carlton Haselrig (Carlton Lee Haselrig) was born on January 22, 1966 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Great Johnstown (Johnstown, PA), Haselrig attended the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Haselrig made his professional debut in the NFL in 1990 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1992 was Carlton Haselrig's best year.

Haselrig was a three-time NCAA Division I heavyweight champion in an era where winning the Division II championship qualified a wrestler to compete in the Division I tournament.
In 2005, Haselrig was named to the NCAA 75th anniversary Wrestling Team.
