Carlton Fisk (Carlton Ernest Fisk) was born on December 26, 1947in Bellows Falls, Vermont. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1969 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1972, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 22 home runs and 61 RBI. Fisk played for the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox over the course of his 24 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Carlton Fisk's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1985, when he slugged 37 home runs and knocked in 107 runs. However, others believe that it was 1977, when he slugged 26 home runs, hit for a .315 average and knocked in 102 runs.
