Carlos Emmons (Carlos Antoine Emmons) was born on September 3, 1973 in Greenwood, Mississippi. After going to high school at Greenwood (MS), Emmons attended Arkansas State University. Emmons made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants over the course of his 11 year career.
Most people believe that 1999 was Carlos Emmons's best year, as he recorded 6 sacks and recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
