Born on September 22, 1881 in Pendleton, South Carolina, Carl Sitton (Charles Vedder Sitton) played for the Cleveland Naps for his entire 1 year career. Sitton broke into the bigs on April 24, 1909 with the Cleveland Naps, and put up a 2.88 ERA in 50 innings pitched in 1909, his rookie year.
