Born on January 8, 1976 in New Britain, Connecticut, Carl Pavano (Carl Anthony Pavano) played for the Montreal Expos, Florida Marlins and New York Yankees over the course of his 8 year career. Pavano broke into the bigs on May 23, 1998 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 4.21 ERA in 134.2 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Carl Pavano's best season was 2004, when he posted a 3.00 ERA, won 18 games and struck out 139 batters.
