Carl Morton

Born on January 18, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri, Carl Morton (Carl Wendle Morton) played for the Montreal Expos and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 8 year career. Morton broke into the bigs on April 11, 1969 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 3.60 ERA in 284.2 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Carl Morton's best season was 1970, when he posted a 3.60 ERA, won 18 games and struck out 154 batters.
