Carl Elliott (Carlton Batt Elliott, Jr.) was born on November 12, 1927 in Laurel, Delaware. After going to high school at Laurel (DE), Elliott attended the University of Virginia. Elliott made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1951 was Carl Elliott's best year, as he hauled in 35 receptions and caught 5 TD passes.
