Carl Capria (Carl Daniel Capria) was born on June 8, 1952 in New York, New York. After going to high school at H. Frank Carey (Franklin Square, NY), Capria attended Purdue University. Capria made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the New York Jets and Detroit Lions over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Carl Capria's best year.
