Carl Buda (Carl Joseph Buda) was born on February 22, 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska. After going to high school at South (Omaha, NE), Buda attended Creighton University and the University of Tulsa. Buda made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
