Camp Wilson (Warren Camp Wilson) was born on March 29, 1922 in Pecos, Texas. After going to high school at El Paso (TX), Wilson attended Hardin-Simmons University, Tarleton State JC and the University of Tulsa. Wilson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Camp Wilson's best year, as he ran for 612 yards.
