Cameron Wake
[edit] BiographyAcquired: Signed as a free agent May 2007 Signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants in April 2005 and was released last December. College: Wake played mostly linebacker at Penn State, but saw some time at defensive end. He finished his collegiate career with 191 total tackles, 8.5 sacks, and 24 TFL. As a senior, Wake started 10 games and recorded 58 tackles, four tackles for losses, one sack, a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble. He rotated with another linebacker as a senior, limiting his production. In 2003, Wake posted his best season, with 71 tackles, four sacks, and eight tackles for loss. Personal: Wake was a Sociology major at Penn State. As a high school senior in Hyattsville, MD, he was selected the Washington Post Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Metro, was rated one of the top 10 defensive ends in the nation by Rivals.com, and was MVP of the Super 44 All-Star game.
