Cal Withrow (James Calvin Withrow) was born on July 4, 1945 in Portsmouth, Ohio. After going to high school at Fairmont West (Kettering, OH), Withrow attended the University of Kentucky. Withrow made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 5 year career.
