Cal Thomas (Calvin O. Thomas) was born on July 1, 1915. After going to high school at Pawhuska (OK), Thomas attended the University of Tulsa. Thomas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.
