Cal Neeman (Calvin Amandus Neeman) was born on February 18, 1929 in Valmeyer, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1957 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1957, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 10 home runs and 39 RBI. Neeman played for the Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career.
