CONCACAF Gold Cup History
The CONCACAF Gold Cup is the top continental competition for teams from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. While the bulk of the competitors are from CONCACAF countries, there are traditionally invites from other confederations, particularly CONMEBOL entrants. Each Gold Cup has been held in the United States, although it shared hosting duties with Mexico in 1993 and 2003 (indicated below by years with italics.
