Buzz Boyle (Ralph Francis Boyle) was born on February 9, 1908 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1929 for the Boston Braves. In 1933, his rookie year, he hit .299 with 0 home runs and 31 RBI. Boyle played for the Boston Braves and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that Buzz Boyle's best season was 1934, when he hit for a .305 average.
