Butch Wensloff

Born on December 3, 1915 in Sausalito, California, Butch Wensloff (Charles William Wensloff) played for the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 3 year career. Wensloff broke into the bigs on May 2, 1943 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 2.54 ERA in 223.1 innings pitched in 1943, his rookie year.
