Butch Weis (Arthur John Weis) was born on March 2, 1901 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1922 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1924, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 0 home runs and 23 RBI. Weis played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 3 year career.
