Butch Davis (Wallace McArthur Davis) was born on June 19, 1958 in Williamston, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on August 23, 1983 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 3 home runs and 20 RBI. Davis played for the Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers over the course of his 7 year career.
