Buster Mills (Colonel Buster Mills) was born on September 16, 1908 in Ranger, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1934 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1937, his rookie year, he hit .295 with 7 home runs and 58 RBI. Mills played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Browns, New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Buster Mills's best season was 1937, when he hit for a .295 average and knocked in 58 runs.
