Buster Burrell (Frank Andrew Burrell) was born on December 22, 1866 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on August 1, 1891 for the New York Giants. In 1896, his rookie year, he hit .301 with 0 home runs and 23 RBI. Burrell played for the New York Giants and Brooklyn Bridegrooms over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Buster Burrell's best season was 1896, when he hit for a .301 average.
