Burt Ingwersen (Burton Aherns Ingwersen) was born on August 29, 1898 in Fulton, Illinois. After going to high school at Clinton (IL), Ingwersen attended the University of Illinois. Ingwersen made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Decatur Staleys. He played for the Decatur Staleys for his entire 1 year career.
