Born on January 7, 1931 in Jasper, North Carolina, Bunky Stewart (Veston Goff Stewart) played for the Washington Senators for his entire 5 year career. Stewart broke into the bigs on May 4, 1952 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 7.64 ERA in 50.2 innings pitched in 1954, his rookie year.
