Bunk Congalton (William Millar Congalton) was born on January 24, 1875 in Guelph, Ontario (Canada). He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1902 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1902, his rookie year, he hit .223 with 1 home run and 24 RBI. Congalton played for the Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Naps and Boston Americans over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Bunk Congalton's best season was 1907, when he hit for a .282 average.
