Bulls To Get Added Boost Beyond Wallace

The Bulls land Ben Wallace earlier today. Now a trade is almost done with the Hornets as follows:

Hornets get Tyson Chandler, the softest player in the league

Bulls get P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith

Add the 2 1st round draft picks and this has been a tremendous week for the Bulls, who are now as deep in talent as the Mavs.

hahaha. I love PJ Brown, but he is at the end of his career, and the only thing he can do for them is tutor the younger players. Hopefully this trade is successful for them

They're going after PJ because he will be a free agent next year and they won't have to carry two large contracts over the next 4 years. Tyson has 5 years and something liek 50 mil left.

PJ's known to be the best influence in the locker room in the nba, so this will help the young guys more than the numbers will reflect...i can't wait to watch my team next year

P.J. could also be used as the large salary part of a package to Minnesota...
The Bulls certainly have enough talent to put together a solid package and still be a deep team. Brown and 3 players off the Bulls would be able to match salaries w/in 3-4 million, which would be suitable. And in signing Big Ben the Bulls promised him they would continue to go after KG. Getting Garnett, even at the inevitable expense of Ben Gordon, would elevate the Bulls to a championship contender.
