Bullet Baker (LeRoy Marlon Baker) was born on November 4, 1900 in Capser, Wyoming. After going to high school at Polytechnic (Long Beach, CA), Baker attended Santa Clara University and the University of Southern California. Baker made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the New York Yankees. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time. Baker also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Green Bay Packers, Staten Island Stapletons, Chicago Cardinals and New York Yankees over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
