Bull Karcis (John Karcis) was born on December 3, 1908 in Monaca, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Monaca (PA), Karcis attended Carnegie Mellon Univeristy. Karcis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Giants over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1937 was Bull Karcis's best year.
