Buff Wagner (Almore C. Wagner) was born on May 31, 1897 in Marinette, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Marinette (WI), Wagner attended Carroll College. Wagner made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
