Buddy Hardeman (Willie Riley Hardeman) was born on October 21, 1954 in Auburn, New York. After going to high school at Auburn (NY), Hardeman attended Iowa State University. Hardeman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Buddy Hardeman's best year, as he had 404 kick return yards.
