Buddy Crutchfield (Wellington Nathaniel Crutchfield, III) was born on March 7, 1976 in Ralegh, North Carolina. After going to high school at Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC), Crutchfield attended North Carolina Central University. Crutchfield made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the New York Jets and Washington Redskins over the course of his 2 year career.
