Buddy Burris (Paul B. Burris) was born on January 20, 1923 in Clarimore, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Muskogee (OK), Burris attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa. Burris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1949 was Buddy Burris's best year.
