Buddy Allen (Elihu Allen, Jr.) was born on July 11, 1937. After going to high school at McClymond (Oakland, CA), Allen attended Oakland Community College and Utah State University. Allen made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 1 year career.
