Bud Souchock

Bud Souchock (Stephen Souchock) was born on March 3, 1919 in Yatesboro, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on May 25, 1946 for the New York Yankees. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .234 with 7 home runs and 37 RBI. Souchock played for the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Bud Souchock's best season was 1953, when he hit for a .302 average.
