Bud Mcfadin (Lewis Pate McFadin) was born on August 21, 1928 in Rankin, Texas. After going to high school at Iraan (TX), Mcfadin attended the University of Texas. Mcfadin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Los Angeles Rams the entire time. Mcfadin also played in the AFL for 6 years, playing for the Denver Broncos and Houston Oilers over the course of his 6 year AFL career.

Most people believe that 1956 was Bud Mcfadin's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
