Bucky Pope (Frank Buckley Pope) was born on March 23, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Crafton (Pittsburgh, PA), Pope attended Catawba College and Duke University. Pope made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1964 was Bucky Pope's best year, as he had 786 receiving yards and caught 10 TD passes.
