Bucky Dilts (Douglas Riggs Dilts) was born on December 6, 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas. After going to high school at W.F. Dykes (Atlanta, GA), Dilts attended the University of Georgia. Dilts made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 3 year career.
