Buckeyes Demise has been Greatly exaggerated

Ohio State loss an embarrassing national title game to Florida to start off a horrible 2007 Sports Year for the state of Ohio. Then they got gutted by the NFL Draft, losing almost all of the offense, and seniors by the defensive line. Where does this lead the explosive Ohio State offensive, and the even more overrated Ohio State Defense?
Well, I did a break down of the offense, and the defense will be coming shortly.
The demise of the team, and the fact that this will be a rebuilding year, however, are greatly exaggerated. Ohio State lucked into an incredibly easy schedule, including a I-AA (Bowl Subdivision) Powerhouse Youngstown State, followed by the ever powerful Akron Zips. This will help a young team recovering from the losses of its most memorable players to learn and grow into a new system and gameplan under head coach Jim Tressell. Delving deeper into this schedule, there's no reason the Buckeyes can't make it to 8-4 or even 9-3.
There's a lot of talent coming back on the defensive side of the of ball, and I saw it first hand at the Spring Game. The offense will come into it's 2002 form quickly through the padded part of the schedule. Don't expect to see 40 points on the board, but don't be surprised to see your Buckeyes be ranked in the top 15, and maybe top 10 by some biased fans.
