Buck Rodgers (Robert Leroy Rodgers) was born on August 16, 1938 in Delaware, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 8, 1961 for the Los Angeles Angels. In 1962, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 6 home runs and 61 RBI. Rodgers played for the Los Angeles Angels and California Angels over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that Buck Rodgers's best season was 1962, when he knocked in 61 runs.
